Notification Forwarder

Notification Forwarder is an Android app that watches the apps you choose and forwards their notifications to you as text messages. It is built for people who carry a basic phone, use a device that cannot show app notifications, or simply want important alerts to reach them by SMS instead of being missed.

You pick which apps are forwarded, set a schedule for when forwarding is active, and choose how messages are delivered. Everything is under your control and can be changed at any time.

Three ways to deliver a notification

• Device SMS. Your own phone sends the message through your own carrier. Nothing leaves your device except the text message.
• Email. Messages are sent through your own email account, using server details you enter yourself.
• Cloud SMS. An optional paid method for devices that cannot send SMS themselves. Messages are sent from our numbers and paid for with credits.

Why the app asks you to sign in with Google

Signing in is only needed for Cloud SMS. It identifies your account so that your credit balance and your verified phone number belong to you and nobody else. The app requests only your basic profile and email address. It does not read your Gmail, your contacts, your files, or your Google Drive.

The other two delivery methods need no account at all.
